To work at the resort you must be at least 16 years of age unless you worked at the resort previously and have been asked to return, or you are applying for a job as a junior instructor.
Whitetail is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Bartenders are responsible for serving in a fast paced, high volume environment while interacting with our guests to ensure they have a great experience. Also expected to maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere. Current available shifts are Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Mountain Safety Patrol
Whitetail Ski Resort is looking for Full Time and Part Time Seasonal Paid and Volunteer Patrollers.  The Whitetail Ski Patrol is responsible for Accident Prevention measures, Slope Safety, and First Aid care to injured guests. Applicants should have a friendly and courteous personality, professional attitude, and advanced ski or snowboarding skills.  Please join us in February for our annual ski off where we evaluate the skiing/snowboarding ability of those interested in joining the patrol. Take a look at our video to find out more, or visit the Whitetail Ski Patrol Website all the details.
Guest Services
Looking for friendly and outgoing people to assist with guest issues.  Guest Service staff provide efficient and friendly service to our guests and employees.  Both full time and part time positions are available, and nights/weekends are required. Evening Shift Food & Beverage (Ages 16+)
Assist in food preparation, serve food to guests, bus dining areas. Employees would assist in Marketplace, Daybreak Cafe, Solstice Restaurant, The Trailside Grille,  and Whitetail Adventure Snow Tubing.
Lift and hill attendants, indoor and outdoor work. Assist guests with loading and unloading lifts and officiating the entire hill.
Sell lift tickets, rentals, lessons and food to guests. Must be friendly, guest service oriented. Attention to detail is a must.
Lift Attendants
Lift Attendants and Operators are responsible for the preparation of lifts before opening to the public, responsible for the safe and orderly operation of the lift during operating hours and properly closing the lift each night.  Lift Operators and Attendants are the most noticed employees at our resort and are in more direct contact with our guests than any other staff members.
 A friendly and courteous personality is a must.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old to operate a chairlift.
Must successfully complete the Whitetail Lift Operations Training Course
